Hi ^^,

I plan to comission soon a couple of rawcasts of this helmet (not more than 4) . They won´t be too expensive and a rawcast doesn´t provide that much a horrible amount of work for me as a finsihed version... . If you are still interested, check out my journal. I´ll start to make the first cast by the end of the month.

its the helmet, the way it comes out of the mould, ... without sanding and without colour.

So all I would need to do is sand it and paint it? How much would you sell them for? And is it wearable?

No not really ^^°, there is much work to do on a raw-cast. You´ll need putty for the inside (the putty which is used for cars) and sand it until its smooth. There are also sometimes little holes on the outside which need to be filled with putty. But you can use liquid putty from an aerosol-can if the holes are teeny weeny. After the aerosol-can-putty and some precisiongrind/hone ( ?) the varnishing can be applied and you might want to glue a cap for more wearing-comfort to the inside. (I will of course help you via PMs or tutorials if you should have questions)

... Thats a good point. I can´t guarantee, that it will fit. I can wear it and most of my friends can wear it, too ([link]). ... So if you are rather a petit woman and have slim cheakbones, the chances are very high, that the helmet might fit...

I would estimate, that one helmet raw-cast would cost around 100-150 € . But I still need to calculate everything, concerning the materials plus time I need for one cast plus shipping ...
